Proper Nutrition Is Your Protection Against Gum Infection
What does proper nutrition mean? Proper nutrition means the intake of a balanced diet so that your body can get the needed nutrients that promotes good health. Your body renews itself each and every day, building new muscles, bone, skin and blood. What provides the new building blocks for these new tissues are the foods that you take in. When you have a diet that is low in nutrients you body needs, your oral cavity may have a hard time resisting gum infection. When balanced diet is not received by children, their teeth may not properly develop. Your kids need a well-balanced diet with emphasis on calcium, phosphorous and proper levels of fluoride, in order for them to develop strong, decay-resistant teeth that can fight against gum infections.
