Symptoms of hot flash
In America, 75% of menopausal women suffer from hot flashes and there are other conditions like hyperthyroidism, male hormones restriction therapy for prostate problems, low blood sugar and blood pressure where hot flashes are know to occur.
The direct cause of the problem is the dilation of blood vessels on the upper part of the body mainly in the neck and face. It is still unclear for identifying the cause of enlargement of blood vessels. But what is seems to be the prime cause is the large fluctuations of female hormones. Hot weather and environment, alcohol, hot spicy foods and stress may act as a trigger to start hot flashes.
The first common symptom is the feeling of heat on the upper body particularly on the neck and face. At the same time, the temperature of the inner part of the body drops as much as 3 degree.
